I found this painting at the Montavilla antique mall when I was looking for vintage christmas bric-a-brac for a christmas project I am working on. It is my early christmas present, or I guess a present for our house. I am working on a collection of somewhat eccentric art and I admit, I love this painting very dearly. I wish I knew more about where it came from.
What I love about this painting most is the cowboys expression and the attention to detail on the horse and saddle. And I am a total sucker for horse paintings, I have a great vintage paint by number of a horse in my bedroom.
